HyperTiles

My kids have been building with these for hours and I keep stealing them to make my own twisting shapes. The way the tiles link together is oddly satisfying, and you can bend them into curved roofs that shouldn't hold up but somehow do.

The way these tiles curve into a saddle shape still messes with my head, in the best way. I keep leaving them on the coffee table and every guest ends up fiddling with them. They link together smoothly and hold whatever weird 3D shape I build.

I wasn't sure how a hyperbolic paraboloid could be fun, but the way these tiles flex and click together into curved shapes is weirdly addictive. My desk now has a wobbly little tower on it that I keep reshaping during calls.
